The median list price in Denver sits at $569,900, down 4.9% from a year ago and down 0.9% from last month. Homes are spending a median of 58 days on the market, and there are 13,365 active listings for buyers to consider, with 4,198 new listings added in September. Of those active listings, 6,848 have had a price cut at some point.

Stepping back to the bigger picture, Census data puts Denver's median home value at about $586,700, with a median household income of about $91,681 and a homeownership rate near 49%. The typical Denver home was built around 1974, and the city's population is about 713,734.
